Sukai

~ this is a sculpture i made of 's character, sukai ~ it took a long time so i'm going to talk about it a lot..... but you can skip that.... ~

~ i lost count of how long it took after 25 hours...... probably longer than it should've taken me ~ made with super sculpty with a bit of wire to hold it up. the wire didn't really work, though because sukai was supposed to be leaping into the air.... but as i added clay he started to sink. now he's in a retarted running position. ~ there are two huge feathers...... they were origionally going to be curved to hold the sculpture up but since he sunk that idea failed and there are two random feathers that are unnatrually large ~ my camra didn't like the shiny paints i used, it looks so muck better in real life...... ~ i fail at anatomy, and it's even more apparent when i attempt to make it 3-d. the front legs are too long and the back legs are too short, plus they are all in abnormal positions ~ a size refrence to a tennis ball........ because that was the first thing i grabbed..... ~ oh, something funny: it wouldn't quite fit in the oven at first so i had to remake one of the giant feathers with air dry clay ~ i fail at paws, on paper and in clay ~

~ i think i'm making it sound like i hated this thing, i didn't hate it though....... i had a lot of fun and it didn't turn out so bad for my second serious attempt at a clay sclupture ~
